Game Pastime: What's New With Restaurant City As Of August 28, 2009?

While checking my restaurant in Restaurant City (RC) two or three hours ago, a notice saying "connection error" showed up. I wasn't surprise though as I encountered such issues many times already. I tried to refresh the page over and over again and just couldn't get a grasp on it. Finally during my last attempt to reload the page, the message which said, "Restaurant city: The kitchen is undergoing maintenance. Please check back again in 30 minutes" cleared my troubles away.

So, RC's on maintenance. "Good. Good", I remarked. 30 minutes or so later, I checked RC again and was glad to be back on track. I noticed one thing new after the said maintenance --- the garden area which was located on the right side of my restaurant (refer to photo below). There were 9 plots in which 6 seemed to have some crops planted while 3 plots were empty. I clicked on the empty plots and a box appeared asking if I would want to plant a seed. I clicked yes and a seed dropped onto the land (cost: 2,000 coins per seed). I did it also to the other two empty plots and watered them occasionally.
The other 6 plots, upon clicking on it says "unlocks at level 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 and the last one, 32". Before, RC's last level is only at 27, right? But now it's up to the 32nd already. How interesting! I can't wait to reach Restaurant City's level 22 and see what's under that plot!
