I am not a huge Kim Kardashian fan. Actually, I am not a fan at all. When Kim’s very expensive dream wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries on 20 August became the most talked about issue in town [and well, the entire universe], the only reaction I had was “Oh. Really? Hmmm…”, spent a minute or two wondering how long the marriage would last then forgot all about it. Somehow, the news did not interest me that much. I guess I just got tired about big extravagant weddings of popular people which usually end up as nightmares.
Well, like all famous fairy tales, expect loads of drama. 72 days after Kim and Kris exchanged their “to love and to cherish, till death do us part” vows, Kim filed for divorce from Humphries [31 October]. Surprise. Surprise! Their reason? Simple! They blame it on “irreconcilable differences”. Really?? What else would it be? Same old. Same old. Tsk. Tsk.
According to MTV.com, beginning 27 November, Kim and Kris’ marriage will be shown on “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” Season 2. Looking around, it seems like these days, reality shows such as this one is totally planned, faked and honestly, has no value whatsoever. They’re not "reality” anymore. They’re scripted just to get more and more viewers. Let’s face it. It’s obviously all about the money. It’s a good thing I don’t sit and watch pointless “reality” shows like this.
How about you? Are you surprised about the divorce? Do you follow Kim’s reality shows?
